Kim Hunter always lived her life in a POSITIVE way, and it made everyone around her want to also be that uplifting person; she made people around her want to be better people. In order to continue her legacy and promote this optimistic attitude, beginning in 2015, the OCCA will annually recognize a team that personifies this POSITIVITY. In addition to recognition and a beautiful trophy during the awards session at the OSAA State Cheerleading Championships, the OCCA will honor Kim Hunter’s legacy by presenting the winning team a monetary award that will help fund cheerleading uniforms and other expenses that arise throughout the season.
