OCCA consists of people around the state of Oregon who share a common goal of promoting and improving their role in cheerleading as a coach/advisor.

As the direct link between cheerleading coaches and the OSAA, the OCCA has a strong impact upon decisions affecting all Oregon cheerleading programs.

NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Course

NFHS Fundamental of Coaching Course has Replaced ASEP Requirement
OSAA has adopted the new NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching course as the "new ASEP." All coaches who have taken ASEP in the past will be grandfathered in and will not be required to take this course, but for all the new high school coaches, this is the course that must be taken before districts will pay and/or allow them to work with kids.  YOU MAY NOT COMPETE WITHOUT THIS CREDENTIAL.  more information....
